What are energy blankets? Applying a lightweight vapor barrier membrane on an indoor pool's water surface when the facility is closed at night. Because all indoor pools are heated year round, evaporative cooling causes heat loss and vapor-saturated air inside the building structure. Because indoor pools require high levels of ventilation, fresh make-up air comes in one side, heated exhaust air goes out the other.
